Qualifications and Duties: 
                           
                           
                              
                              - Doctoral degree in related discipline.  Candidate working on a PhD may be considered.
- Subject matter expert in a healthcare related field required but preference given
                                    to earned academia in healthcare, nursing, organizational leadership, medical, public
                                    health, pharmacy, etc.
- Experience working in online and/or higher education preferred.
- Experience in teaching preferred.
- Experience in course design and curriculum building preferred.
- Experience in leadership training, networking, and program promotion desired.
- Excellent organization and project management skills, including attention to detail
                                    and the ability to work and think independently as well as in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, wordsmithing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel when appropriate.
Position & Responsibilities: 
                           
                           This is a 12-month part-time faculty position responsible to the provost and the appointed
                                 dean/lead for graduate studies.  Applicant should be well-versed in teaching, building,
                                 maintaining, assessing and writing curriculum for an academic program.  Directors
                                 are responsible for ensuring programs are current and relevant as well as consistent
                                 with the Ƶ mission. This position will maintain, improve, and regulate
                                 instructional materials in accordance with university practices and work with other
                                 subject matter experts to update instructional design processes and templates.  As
                                 the primary program representative, the director will ensure the satisfactory performance
                                 of all related tasks, activities and events, such as accreditation, reports, assessment,
                                 promotions and partnership engagements.
                           
                           Responsibilities include recruitment and admissions, student advising, administration,
                                 and planning.  Directors will meet with prospective students and other interested
                                 parties to describe information on the university, graduate studies, and the respective
                                 program.  Directors will review evaluations and help resolve program-related comments
                                 and complaints.  Directors work closely with admissions, the registrar, provost, department
                                 chairs, other program directors, and faculty.  Directors may work with finance, student
                                 services, advancement, and assorted committees.
                           
                           Master’s of Healthcare Administration Program Director will:
                           
                           
                              
                              - Implement, manage, design, report, and assess the MHA program.
- Teach 9-12 graduate hours annually
- Design, refresh, or revise 3-4 course master shells annually.
- Develop new outreach strategies and manage analytics to gauge program performance.
- Assist with recruiting events/activities as a representative of Ƶ online
                                    and graduate programming.
- Develop relationships with potential partnerships.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with businesses, corporations,
                                    and other organizations.
- Continue to innovate and create best practices for Ƶ Online.
- Initiate and set goals for new programs based on the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Direct faculty, graduate assistant, and work-study as necessary.
- Use learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), student information systems (e.g.,
                                    J1, and customer relationship modules (e.g., JRM) as required
